Hashemite University officials organized the day before yesterday, a protest rally at the establishment's headquarters. In this context, the Jordanian Labor Observatory has reported that civil servants are demanding improvements in health insurance, the equivalence of scientific skills, a salary increase and the taking into account of years of service.
The officials said their protests will continue until the administration responds positively to their demands.
