Mohamed Najjar, 39, from the village of Idhna (west of Hebron), died in the morning of Tuesday while working on a job site in the occupied Palestinian interior city of Ashdod. The deceased died of his injuries after an elevator crashed into him.
According to official data, 46 workers died as a result of workplace accidents, compared to 38 in 2018 and 36 in 2017. About 180 workers have been injured (30 serious injuries) since the start of the current year.
