The hostages held in the occupation prisons and whose salaries have been suspended by the Palestinian authorities will start a hunger strike next Wednesday.
In a statement released yesterday, the 37 hostages explained that the chairman of the Committee on Hostage and Released People, General Major Kadri Abou Bakar, informed them that the matter fell within the competence of the intelligence chief, General major Majed Faraj.
In the same press release, the hostages said that for two years they have been waiting for this injustice to be lifted. After the failure of all their attempts to find a solution to this crisis with the Palestinian officials (and especially the officials of the Ministry of Finance, the Committee of hostages and released, intelligence and preventive security), the hostages decided to start a hunger strike in order to put an end to this injustice.
