The Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions in the North: UNRWA should relief Nahr El-Bared and Beddawi Camps

The Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions in the North called on the UNRWA, to act quickly and respond to the demands of the Palestinian refugees to develop a comprehensive relief plan that requires providing food rations for the people of Nahr al-Bared and Beddawi camps and the need to provide medicine for the owners of chronic diseases Developments in the future, full treatment for those with severe illnesses and work to secure funds for eligible families who are still displaced from Al-Bared and pay out of their own pocket their rent allowances after UNRWA has abandoned its humanitarian responsibilities towards these families who are getting poorer because of the breadth of the size of the pain and suffering.

The Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions in the North said in a statement issued last Thursday that these demands came as a result of the situation in Lebanon and the impact on the conditions of the people in the camps and worsening the volume of suffering on all levels of economic, social and life and the low living conditions.
