Six foreign workers were buried alive after heavy rain flooded the construction site they were working on.
The six were working on a section of a pipe that was 14 meters below the ground at a piping project in Seeb, when they were trapped under mud and water.
Rescue officials rushed to save them, but despite their best efforts, could only recover their bodies, which were found in the nearly 300-metre long section of concrete pipe they were working on.
Officials at the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) revealed that although rescue teams had attempted to rescue the six, the workers were unfortunately found dead.
