The National Union of Public Administration Employees supports Algerian judges

The National Union of Employees of the Public Administration, under the umbrella of the General Confederation of Independent Workers in Algeria, has announced its support for the strike decision announced by the National Magistrates' Syndicate (SNM).

The National Syndicate called on the Syndicate of Judges to engage in independent trade union work in its comprehensive sense in order to establish an independent justice and the rule of law and democracy demanded by the popular movement, recalling its support for the Syndicate of Judges in the 1990s.

Algerian judges and prosecutors began an open-ended strike to demand the independence of the judiciary after a massive reshuffle that has affected thousands.
