On October 23, a large popular sit-in will be held at Riyad El Soloh Square, Beirut, starting at 5pm. This sit-in is part of the protests opposing the 2020 finance bill, which some of its articles impose new taxes that target the Lebanese citizen and state social services.
In this context, trade unions and trade unions have confirmed their participation in this event to oppose threats against the achievements of civil servants, pensioners, unemployed and employees.
