Egyptian human rights organizations have announced the release of a dozen young people who were arrested during demonstrations on September 20; protests organized against President Sissi's regime.
Lawyers from the Egyptian Commission for Rights and Freedoms said that the young people who were released in Alexandria had no record of or investigation against them.
For its part, the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights reported that other young people were released in Giza governorate without any legal procedure against them. Others were released, still without prosecution, in the governorates of Suez, Alexandria and Al-Buhayrah.
