The officials, administrators and agents of the Department of Agricultural Scientific Research in the city of Zahle, organized, on October 2, a sit-in to denounce the campaign of denigration of which the department and its director-general are victims. Farmers, academics, exporters and industry representatives took part in the event.
The protesters called on the court to deal with the complaint lodged on this subject by the director general of the department in order to put an end to the denigration he faces while the department, its technicians and its experts are globally recognized for their skills.
