Tunisia: 'WAT Tunisia' plant fires 42 workers and trade unionists

Eight workers at the 'WAT Tunisia' factory, specializing in the manufacture of toilet paper and established in the city of Enfidha (Sousse governorate), have started a hunger strike since September 27, 2019. Workers oppose the decision of the factory administration concerning the unfair dismissal of 42 workers.

Since August, workers have protested several times against the administration, which constantly violates the right to organize.
