The General Administration of Mauritanian Radio distributed forms for all employees to collect their personal data, scientific training, skills and professional level. In this context, the online newspaper 'Al Akhbar' reported that the form includes information on personal data, employment, training, diplomas, daily work, professional and administrative liability, monthly salary and others. The paper said the administration did not provide any explanation for this form, which was presented in French without any Arabic version.
For their part, the collaborating employees of the Radio, representing the majority of staff, explained that the successive administrations have always refused to make them permanent.
The Mauritanian Union of public media employees announced the organization of major events and explained, in a statement, that employees are victims of great injustices for many years.
