Last Thursday, brick factory workers in Zeramdine, Monastir governorate, began a sit-in at the delegation headquarter after the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas (STEG) has cut electricity at the plant.
Local media reported that the protesters blocked the road linking Zeramdine to the neighboring delegation Jemmel and that forty of them broke into the office of the governor's representative.
The factory owes 9 million dinars to STEG and that the debts have been confirmed by a legal verdict.
