Workers and officials of the Tunisian Petroleum Enterprise (ETAP) observed a labor strike on 5 and 6 September. Production was stopped in seven governorates work sites.
The strikers, claimed that their wages should be aligned with those of other affiliated companies employees and the change of the company status to become a real national oil fields operator.
