The Spanish government has expressed its support for the security collaboration between Morocco and Mauritania to ensure traffic via the border crossing of El Guerguerat.
The Spanish Foreign Ministry issued a statement in which it applauded creating a joint committee between the two countries culminating in the establishment of an advanced center in the region to oversee and combat irregular migration operations.
