One hundred eighteen workers of a lighting plant, located in one of the suburbs of the city of Port Said, have filed the minutes number 90882 against their employer who blocks their wages for three months.
The news site 'Al Massraoui' reported that the city's labor administration explained, in a first communique issued earlier this week, that the workers were not paid for the months of April, May and June, while the administration has still not made payments in August.
The Labor Directorate claimed to have summoned the company's lawyer, who explained that the company was experiencing a major financial crisis and that production was suspended following the owner's instructions. Following the failure of the negotiations, the bureau drafted the minutes number 90882 for the year 2019.
