On August 7th, the educational institutions' guards and cleaning agents in Beni Mellal city organized a protest rally in front of the academy of education's headquarters. The protesters set up a sit-in and remained there throughout Eid Al-Idhha.
The protests were decided after the parties had received several promises following numerous meetings held with officials for over a year without leading to a satisfactory solution for both parties.
The protesters denounced what they described as the failure of those responsible for the implementation of commitments, especially those related to workers’ compensation.
