The General Federation of Public Health Doctors, under the umbrella of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), has announced a general strike for doctors, pharmacists and dentists in the public sector on August 15 in all health facilities in the country.
The federation demands the implementation of what was stipulated in the minutes of the meetings relating to agreements signed between the supervisory authority and the doctors' union; an integrated agreement on the professional motion of the Sectoral Administrative Body was reached on July 6, 2019.
