Jordanian teachers' union threatens to organize protests in September

The Information Office of the Jordanian Teachers' Union announced its intention to engage in protest movements, in September if the government insists on not interacting positively with the workers’ l demands.

In a statement, the council stressed that the 50% bonus requirement should not be waived, in addition to the rejection of the current career path.

The union also issued a statement, following its meeting on Saturday, in which it threatened to step up its movements, during September, if the 50% bonus was not approved by the government.
