The Ministry of Labour’s media spokesman announced that the ministry's inspection services arrested 8 illegal migrant workers in one of the government institutions on Sunday.
According to the “Ahdath 24” website, these migrant workers work in cleaning companies which are contracted by a number of government institutions, in violation of the law.
The ministry announced that it carried out 94,451 inspection visits to a number of establishments in 2018, resulting in the deportation of 7146 migrant workers working illegally.
