Yesterday, the Voice of Palestine Radio quoting the Palestinian government’s spokesman, Ibrahim Melhem, announced that the government had not yet determined how much employee salaries in the West Bank and Gaza Strip would be and that it is waiting for the review of the public treasury of funds to determine the amount needed for salaries.
Moreover, Ibrahim Melhem told the radio that this issue is the top priority of the government and the prime minister, as Eid al-Adha and the new school year are fast approaching.
