The workers of Ceramics company SOCCER, in Chbedda, in Ben Arous province, launched a strike, on July 9 and 10, after the failure of negotiations between the unionist party and the administrative party, regarding some legal and professional demands.
The Tunisian newspaper, Al-Chaab, reported that the workers are protesting because the employer did not adhere to the legislation in force, regarding the weekly rest and the time allocated for washing, along with the classification file.
The newspaper confirmed that the situation will meet further escalation in case the company’s management continue to ignore having dialogue with the trade union party.
