The National Office of the National Union of Territorial Communities and Management of the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CTD) warned the management of Ozone Cleaning Company against the tension witnessed by the company in a number of Moroccan cities.
In a statement, the office accused the company’s management and the Ministry of the Interior of being responsible for the abuse of power and the aggressive targeting of workers.
The National Office condemned the expulsion, repression, provocation, pressure and violation of the trade union freedoms subjected on the workers by the company's management and its president; as well as their disregard of laws and contracts and their non-commitment to “all its obligations, in addition to their hampering of the various legal procedures for most of the regional and national reconciliation committees.
The National Office denounced the "misguidance and manipulation of the company's management," which pretends to do charity work to embellish its image. In contrast, " it is practicing all the atrocities against workers, in violation of all the human rights and legal regulations."
The union called on the management of the company to accelerate the settling of all the pending problems by working on opening a meaningful and productive sectoral dialogue, in order to put an end to the tension witnessed by the company.
The Ministry of the Interior is called for the urgent and immediate intervention in order to deal with all the problems, to implement the requirements of the Labour Code and to eliminate of all forms of domination and abuse.
The National Office called on all workers at the national level to increase the pace of mobilization and to be prepared for all forms of struggle, in defense of their dignity and the maintenance of rights.
