The committee of manpower in parliament is scheduled to start this week a discussion of the project submitted by the government to set a minimum periodic allowance for those who are covered by the civil service law and grant a special allowance to those who are not addressed by the civil service law.
The House of Representatives announced that the discussion will be held between the Manpower Committee and the Bureau of the Committee of Plan and Budget, in parliament.
The Egyptian President has announced the granting of the civil servants in the state a periodic bonus of 7% of the salary and at a minimum of 75 pounds per month for those covered by the Civil Service Law instead of LE 65 and a special bonus of 10% of the basic wage on 30 June 2019 at a minimum of 75 pounds per month for the workers who are not addressed by the Civil Service Law and whose jobs govern special laws or regulations instead of 65 pounds, last year.
In addition, an exceptional bonus will be granted to all employees in the state, LE 150 , starting from, 2019. Moreover, the pensioners will be granted an increase of 15% with a minimum of LE 150 per month starting from the first of July, with the increase in the minimum pension to 900 pounds per month.
