Three cameraman journalists from “Dzair News" Tv channel were dismissed, under the pretext that the Tv channel cannot renew the workers’ contracts after their termination.
According to “Shihab Presse” website, quoting one of the Tv channel’s employees, the administration did not pay the workers’ salaries and did not renew the workers’ contracts after their termination. In fact, the channel is suffering from financial difficulties, due to the arrest of its owner, Ali Haddad, and his imprisonment.
According to the sources, there is a great possibility for the channel’s closing, in the coming days, because of the crisis and the circumstances it has suffered, while only "Dzair TV" will remain.
The journalists expressed their regret for the difficult situation experienced by the Algerian channels, regarding the financial crisis that affected many channels, which is alarming to the future of the press. In fact, the media’s job has become very difficult for the journalists due to the harsh circumstances that have not changed, especially at the social level.
