The Mauritanian government represses the Confederation of Free Mauritania Workers (CLTM)

According to Fajer Elhouriya news agency, the Mauritanian government represented by the Minister of Public Service prevented the Confederation of Free Mauritania Workers (CLTM) from benefiting from the annual support provided by the government and the social security fund to the trade union organizations, in addition to the prevention of its secretary-general from benefiting from his right to retirement and his dismissal from the board of directors of the Human Rights and the Economic Council.

The agency pointed out that the Mauritanian government is oppressing the Confederation of Free Mauritania Workers (CLTM) because of the Secretary General's positions and his accountability to the government before the international bodies, especially the International Labor Organization (ILO), which has put Mauritania in the black list, during its recent trial.
