Two workers from the "Sarbi" company in Amoura, in Hassi Raml entered in an open strike since May 4, following the decision of their layoff, since the beginning of this month.
“Al-Khabar” newspaper reported that the workers were surprised by this arbitrary decision, which caused the loss of their children's livelihood. Moreover, the workers reported that the two complexes were replaced by another one, along with the employing of new workers, adding that 85 workers were fired and hired by the local employment agency, while some others have been recently employed.
The protesters called on the governor to intervene urgently to settle their situation, accusing him for being the only responsible of the repercussions of this arbitrary decision that targeted the livelihood of their children in the holy month.
