The Houthis are targeting teachers

The head of the Nashwan Center for Studies and Media, the political analyst Adel Al-Ahmadi, said that the Houthi militia is targeting the teachers to leave their jobs and replace them with their followers in the field of education to fight the educational process and "instil misguided ideas and spread myths."

In the same context, Yemen's human rights activist, Saif Al-Heddi, a former employee of Transparency International (Yemen), wrote an article on his personal blog revealing corruption in the salaries of eight Yemenis working for the UN World Food Program, which reached 25 billion Yemeni riyals, in just one year, while Yemen is witnessing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the United Nations.

He added that there is another objective behind the deliberate Houthi starvation policy, which is to exploit the people's need to fill their minds with extremist thoughts. In fact, they are asking the employees to join their cultural programs to pay part of their salaries, and through these programs they affect on the workers’ thoughts, through filling their heads with sectarianist ideas.
