The Jordanian Labour Observatory stated that dozens of dairy distributors in Al-Juneidi Dairy Company carried out a strike, yesterday, in front of the Ministry of Labour to protest against the dismissal of 24 distributors.
The workers expressed that the company fired 24 distributors because of their participation in a strike on Monday, to protest against the retroactive change in the commission system and the cut of their salaries.
The distributors stressed that the company is forcing them to sell the entire goods, otherwise it will be deducted from their salaries.
The company’s workers are asking for the return of the dismissed workers to their jobs, the increase in their salaries and to stop the cut from their salaries.
