Amnesty International condemned the repression of hundreds of demonstrators in Sudan, who are asking for the departure of Al-Bashir, describing their repression as a flagrant violation of the human rights and international charters.
Hundreds of protesters, mostly students, teachers and doctors, protested in the streets of the Sudanese capital Khartoum and the nearby areas on Tuesday, amid the protests that began three months ago, which represent the most serious challenge, during President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir's 30-year rule.
Students, activists and other protesters, who are frustrated because of the economic problems have been protesting in almost daily protests in Sudan since December 19th, asking for the overthrown of Al-Bashir.
The police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, while trying to disperse some others, who were burning tires.
Tuesday's protests denounce the trial of a number of activists. The trial was adjourned until March 25th.
The activists on social networks posted and shared pictures and videos of the protests against Al-Bashir and his regime.
