The Executive Office of the General Union of Agriculture of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) condemned the continuation of the violation of the trade unionists’ rights in the center of biological agriculture in Shatt Mariam, in the province of Sousse, as 3 of them were accused with fake charges and sentenced to imprisonment.
The General Union of Agriculture considered this practice as a blatant violation of the trade union right and warned against the consequences of its continuation.
It is noteworthy that the General Union of Agriculture coordinated with the union to follow-up the file and appoint a lawyer to defend the targeted trade unionists.
