Starting from the tomorrow: The judicial reporters in Morocco resume their protests

The Executive Office of the Moroccan National Syndicates of Judicial Reporters under the Moroccan Workers' Union decided to launch, a third strike in less than two months, starting from Tuesday for three days to ask for the meeting of their suspended professional and social demands.

The National Trade Union expressed its anger regarding the silence of the government, the Ministry of Justice that kept wasting time ignoring the demands. The government and the Ministry of Justice were supposed to implement the commitments, pledges and have discussions with the Moroccan National Syndicates of Judicial Reporters to discuss the judicial reporters’ issues of interests.

The reporters protested against the marginalization, exclusion and delay they have been suffering of since 2012. Besides, they called on the ministry to activate the reform that had been approved by the Reform of Justice System in Article 344 for more than four years and the immediate response to their urgent demands, which are the only solution to ensure the judicial reporters’ living and professional stability. Moreover, they insisted of the necessity to be consulted as a partner about maintaining or not the profession as it is their constitutional right.
