The court reporters organized a vigil under the Executive Office of the National Syndicate of Court Reporters belonging to the Moroccan Workers’ Union for the implementation of the National Council recommendations, which was announced by the Executive Office, as well as national strikes on the 18th, 19th and 20th of this month with a protest on the 18th, in front of the Ministry of Justice.
The protestors raised banners and slogans expressing their dissatisfaction and anger regarding their marginalization and exclusion since 2012. Moreover, they asked the ministry to activate the reform approved by the system of justice reform in its article 344, for more than four years and the immediate response to their urgent demands, demands which are the only solution to ensure the court reporters’ living and professional stability, as well as asking for the principle of partnership as a constitutional right to maintain or abolish the profession of the court reporters.
