Today, dozens of unemployed youth of Aqaba continue their march for the sixth day in a row to the Royal Court in the capital Amman to ask the provision of job opportunities.
According to the Jordanian Labour Observatory, quoting testimonies from the participants in the march, "the youth of Aqaba began their protest movements since last November with the strike at Sharif Hussein ben Ali in Aqaba, and they were promised to implement their demands, but these were hollow promises."
The participants in the march, who are about 100 young people, continued their march towards the Royal Court to highlight their situation and ask for the provision of job opportunities.
