The Mauritanian teachers of technical education and vocational training ended their strike yesterday, which started on Monday (February 11th), following the National Union of Teachers of Technical Education and Vocational Training’s call, with a 95% success rate.
The union considered that the teachers of technical and vocational training are living in difficult circumstances, stressing that they were dreaming of improving their conditions, a dream that couldn’t come true because of the repeated and unjustified manipulation and mistakes in dealing with their dues and rights, as well as the poor management of the sector and the lack of attention to the human resources.
