The Regional Office of the Tangier Syndicates of the Moroccan Workers’ Union condemned the intimidation and restriction of the newly established trade union office by the ALSA administration.
The administration fabricated loose charges against the members of the office in order to blackmail them and force them to submit their resignations from the Moroccan Workers’ Union and to desist from establishing a trade union office.
The Regional Office revealed in a protest statement that it coordinated with the members of the International Transport Workers’ Federation ITF to take the appropriate escalation decisions that will be announced, in case of the company’s management insistence in continuing with its current approach to fight the union office.
