The regional office of the National Federation of Education, under the Moroccan Workers’ Union, in “Daraa Tafilalet" condemned the restrictive measures on the freedom of trade unions, taken by the director of the academy against the governmental inspection authority.
The regional office considered that this behaviour reflects the government's policy in dealing with the struggles of the education workers, instead of providing radical solutions to the crisis of the public school and meeting their just demands. It is rather facing the struggles of the cell 9 professors with repression, using all means of violence.
The regional office condemned all forms of systematic repression against the cell 9 professors. Moreover, it expressed in its statement its rejection all forms of restrictions on the trade union freedoms and all the unfair decisions made by the director of the academy, in “Daraa Tafilalet”, against the inspection authority.
It also called for the immediate response to all the demands of the cell 9 teachers, as well as, all the affected groups by the subversive policies in the education sector, and the immediate withdraw of the arbitrary decisions of the inspection authority, declaring the intervention of all forms of struggle in defence of the public school.
