The Secretary-General of the Bahrain Workers' Union, “Hassan Al-Hilwaji” met on Saturday with the members of the “AwalGulf Manufacturing” company syndicate. The meeting discussed the concerns of the company's employees regarding their future in the company, in light of the statement issued by the company's management regarding the optional offer made to the workers, in order to reduce the number of workers in the company.
The Secretary-General confirmed the Bahrain Workers' Union's stand with the union regarding the right to negotiate on the behalf of the workers of the company and to know all the details concerning the number of workers to be excluded and to make sure that the offer submitted by the management of the AwalGulf Manufacturing” company does not force the workers to accept to leave.
