Dozens of employees from the public sector companies held a protest rally with their families, in front of the Presidential Council building on the “Sikka” road on Monday morning.
The protesters carried banners and slogans like : "The dignity of our workers lays in their salaries", "We do not beg, our salaries are our legitimate right", "No good comes from a government that throw its workers to hunger", "Our children are hungry, fear God"; in protest against the non-payment of their salaries for more than four years, despite their repeated demands and protests, along with the promises of the responsible authorities to sign the decision to pay their salaries.
