The National Union of Moroccan Administrators called for a national strike on December 4 and 5, with protests in front of the Parliament in Rabat and in front of the headquarters of the provinces in different parts of the kingdom.
The committee also called on all the land-based administrators to participate in the national strike on Nov. 29, called by the National Union of Workers and Community Employees, which is part of the Moroccan Workers’ Union and the Democratic Union of Local Communities, under the umbrella of the Democratic Confederation of Labor
The same committee announced in its statement on the organization of a national march during the first day of the strike on 2p.m, starting from of Mohammed V Street towards the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in addition to organizing a night vigil after the implementation of the eighth national march on Wednesday night.
"The union does not ask for an increase in wages or privileges, but only equality within the administration, that is not implemented yet, although Morocco has ratified many international treaties in this area," said “Fatima Benadi”, president of the National Union of Moroccan Administrators.
She added: “It is strange that both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice admit the injustice that affects this category, because of the Ministry of Finance, which claims that the cost of settlement of the file is expensive, an argument that it did not use with the rest of the categories" noting that "there is no public policy regarding the management of human resources within the administration. "
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan managers took part in a strike of workers on November 14 and 15, with a participation rate of around 70%, confirming their steadfastness and persistence in the field protests until their situation is settled by a fair and equal basic system.
