The social situation in Lebanon's private schools has witnessed a lot of tension recently, due to the non- implementation of Law 46 in private schools, as in the public sector, concerning the payment of the teachers' salaries in the private sector on the basis of the grades and salary series at the end of October 2017.
It is noteworthy that the workers and teachers at the private schools entered into strike on November 2, following the private school teachers’ call to protest against the non-meeting of their demands.
