Due to the torture he suffered in the prison: the leader of the Moroccan rural movement,” Nasser Al-Zafzafi” started a brutal hunger strike

The father of” Nasser Al-Zafzafi”, one of the leaders of the rural movement in Morocco, posted a video in which he announced his son's entry into a brutal hunger strike

According to Al-Zafzafi's father, the leader of the rural movement informed his mother during a telephone call from the prison that he entered in a brutal hunger strike “without food, water or sugar until martyrdom" because of the harassment, provocation and torture he suffered during the year and three months he spent in detention.

Like a farewell will, the leader of the rural movement, arrested at the “Akasha” prison in Casablanca asked his mother to not stop or interrupt his strike and to bury him in the countryside after his death, “for which he sacrificed everything and was imprisoned and tortured”. According to his father, he also confirmed that he won’t live anymore in a homeland that dishonor him, a homeland that humiliates, despises and torments him, and that he "wants to move to a world where there are no injustices, a world of democracy and freedoms, where all rights are preserved."
