The heads of the general trade unions affiliated with the General Union of Aden Trade Unions called for the increase in wages to cope with the high prices and the suspension of the salaries’ taxes until settling the price imbalance between the riyal and the other currencies.
This happened last Saturday during the meeting of the general trade unions in “Al-Maala”, Aden headquarters, where they also demanded a review of the value of the annual allowances from the date of legal entitlement, according to the provisions of Law No. (19) of 1991 and its executive regulations on the civil service and Law No. (43) for the year 2005 and its regulations on salaries, remunerations and the associated resolutions and their retroactive effect.
The unions also asked for the payment of the work allowances for all employees, including employees of 2011, from the due date, according to the legal provisions mentioned above, and the consolidation of the functional structure at the highest level and other current functional levels, as well as the launch of all comprehensive job adjustments of the annual allowance and allowances from the due date , from which the advisory opinion about grants in Aden along with other financial, professional and social demands was issued.
