The social situation in the Aqaba Container Terminal has been witnessing a lot of tension, recently because of the workers demands to the management of the container to respect their job security.
The workers confirmed that they are deprived of equality with the rest of the employees of the company who are paid salaries of more than one thousand dinars, asking the Ministry of Labor, deputies and their management to be equal to their colleagues and return to their previous status, because of the poor circumstances of their families, and the high cost of living.
It is noteworthy that the workers carried out a protest last week in front of the headquarters of the container company in “Charif” square, asking for the settlement of their pending professional status.
