The regional labor union of Tataouine cancelled the strike, which was in favor of the workers of "SOCOBAT" company and that was expected to occur on July 26th, 27th and 28th 2018, following an agreement was that was concluded one day before the strike.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday evening at the headquarters of the Tunisian Institution for Petroleum Activities, in the presence of representatives of OMV and SOCOBAT companies, which pledged to meet the workers' demands especially concerning grants, the improving of the working conditions and the returning the expelled workers.
