The Kenyan newspapers revealed that Kenyan workers are living in humiliating working conditions in Qatar where their rights are violated and where they are exploited as labor force.
The newspaper "Business Daily Africa" pointed out that the Kenyan workers are suffering from poor conditions and the violation of their freedoms and rights, in addition to their abuse, pointing out that dozens of Kenyans are stuck in Doha and exploited by the authorities giving them hard work with low salaries. Moreover, they did not receive their wages on time and decided to strike; the Qatari companies ended their contracts and expelled them from their homes.
According to the Daily Nation newspaper, more than 80 Kenyans live in miserable conditions in Qatar because they have been subjected to ill-treatment, torture and slavery. In fact, their families asked the Kenyan government to repatriate their children.
