The employees of the works offices of Sana'a City launched a strike on Wednesday to protest against the injury of one of its employees in armed clashes between the Houthi militia and a citizen. The sources confirmed that the employees of the work offices of the ten directorates of Sana'a City, carried out a protest against the injury of “Abdulkarim Al-Muslamani”, one of the employees of the office in the revolution directorate because of clashes between citizens and people of the Houthi militia. In fact, the militias tried to demolish a building, which is the property of “Ahmed Hussein Charif” in one of the revolution directorate districts, during the execution of the " Al-Muslamani” of one of his duties under the law during his official working hours.
The protesters asked for the detention of the perpetrators without toleration.
It should be noted that recently, a number of accused people of assaulting the employees of the works offices were released.
