As punishment for their protests: The administration of "Dar Al-Dawa" in Jordan calls for the security forces and threatens workers with the cut of their wages

“Dar Al-Dawa” administration closed the institution following the strike launched by the workers on Tuesday.

The sources confirmed that the administration sent a letter to the Ministry of Interior, Security and Intelligence in which he said that "a number of employees of the company stopped working illegally and with the presence of representatives of the union, and that the situation was escalated and was threatening the company and its employees."

The sources added that the security services spread around the building of the company on Wednesday morning, and the administration stopped the buses carrying workers to prevent them from reaching the company's site.

The workers prepared a tent for the strike in front of the company’s building, after they managed to reach the headquarters through their own cars and taxi, stressing that they will not retreat until their demands are met.

More than 600 workers ask for salary rises, which they have been deprived of for five years. In addition, they are calling for a follow-up on the issue of the savings fund.

The company's management threatened the employees involved in the strike, which was described as illegal, with a cut of 50 dinars for the first day of the strike and 5 dinars for each day, in addition to the deduction for the salaries of those days.
