The National Syndicate of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (SNTMA) announced that it will organize a strike on July 31 in protest against the procrastination of the officials responsible for meeting their professional and social demands which are the same of their recent protests.
In our previous electronic newsletter, we have revealed the demands of the technicians which are summarized in reclassifying them into the hierarchy of wages by raising the base wage, equalizing their wages with other employees of the company and promoting employment.
It is noteworthy that the planned strike will disrupt the air traffic at the level of the Algerian Airlines, which will coincide with the season of summer and pilgrimage, which threatens the company to incur huge losses.
