Changes at the level of mechanics, representatives and heads of Algerian air stations abroad

Algeria's “Al-Shorouq” newspaper reported that the airline general directorate approved on the new remittance scheme of its offices and counterparts abroad, including the most important cities and capitals, where it was decided to make changes at the level of representatives and heads of the Algerian air stations abroad.

The newspaper said that this movement will affect the heads of stations in most French airports starting from Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Bordeaux, in addition to the capitals and cities of the world, including Beijing and London, as well as Milan and other cities including Istanbul, Dubai and Jeddah.

According to the newspaper, the new transfers have been frozen for several months because of the importance of the positions, forcing the Directorate General to postpone it for several times, and took advantage of the summer vacation to pass it.

The changes also included the Department of Mechanics, although that his section appoints the assignees abroad based on graded tests and evaluations with points by a special committee.

Eight new Algerian air force mechanics have been appointed at French airports, mainly in Lille, Paris, Lyon and Marseille, where they will work for about three years.

The newspaper pointed out that the Algerian plan of internal air transfers is still in the labor stage, where the administration has not yet settled on the names of the transfer, recruitment and retirement, and it will affect the section of trade, maintenance, operations, security, management, finance and automated media.

It is expected that the social conditions in the company will escalate during the current period due to the pending labor demands and the choice of some unions to escalate, including the Union of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, which voted for the strike during an extraordinary general assembly. It likely that other unions will follow in the Algerian air, as we mentioned in a previous newsletter.
