According to trade union sources, the workers of the public business sector of “Omar Effendi” company, which is one of the holding companies for building and construction, will seek to raise wages after the government’s decision to raise the electricity, water, fuel, subway tickets and mobile lines’ prices.
It is expected that workers will protest in the coming days, when they found that the administration will not increase their salaries at the moment.
It is noteworthy that the government has not met yet its commitments in the payment of 2017 remunerations by 20%, while the salaries of heads of boards and their deputies have been increased.
